GOOD HOSTING. REAL PEOPLE.

About Lightning Web Hosting

Your website needs a reliable home. Keeping it up to date should be easy too.

Part of Lightning Developments

Lightning Web Hosting is a Lightning Developments service for New Zealand businesses. We look after website hosting and help you move, modernise and keep improving your website.

Hosting, with the essentials included

Thunder starts at NZ$55 + GST a month per website. Both hosting plans include AWS hosting, CloudFront CDN, SSL, platform security, daily website backups, free domain registration and DNS. Our main hosting platform runs in AWS Sydney, Australia. We confirm any special data-location requirements before setup.

A little more help from Arc

Lightning is NZ$99 + GST a month per website and adds unlimited everyday updates with Arc, our AI website helper. Ask for a text change, upload a picture or move an existing item on the page. You review a private preview and approve it before publication starts. Fair use is reviewed around 300 confirmed changes a month.

Try the Arc website-update demo to see the process. It is a practice example. Your real requests and proofs stay inside your account.

Humans are here too

Our team oversees website modernisation and checks the result before launch. Complex manual changes are NZ$120 + GST an hour, with the scope and estimate agreed first. Included everyday changes stay within the Lightning plan.

Know where you stand

Your website and supplied content remain yours. Hosting billing starts when your website goes live with us. Any one-off modernisation or setup work is agreed separately. Read the hosting terms or common questions for the practical details.
